President Hotel

was ok property,everything is low cost build in but in general ok clean.

During my stay at The President, I stayed first in the main hotel then moved to the Villas. Both locations offered a clean room, comfortable beds with ample AC and an excellent location. I would like to point out that these rooms are CLEAN. I have asthma and was worried about certain smells that can trigger me. I was very impressed that the rooms smelled great, (no perfumed air fresheners) and are clean. The rooms in the main hotel are less updated with a smaller bathroom while the Villas are more updated and have a balcony ( which I didn't use because it was hot and nothing dries in the humidity anyway.) The hotel offered a daily breakfast which was wonderful and had a lot of choices. The hotel also offered access to a pool, beach towels and bottled water. As for the location, it is one block from Ocean Drive and quite frankly that was the best place to be. Ocean Drive, though fun and lively, can get pretty loud. It was nice to be close to the action but not on top of it. Also, this hotel is very close to great restaurants, a drug store ( in case you forget suntan lotion or want to buy some snacks) and walking distance ( 3 min. ) to the beach. As for getting around the area, it is an easy place to walk around. I also rented bikes ( rentals available on nearly every block and purchased with a credit card ) or used Uber ( I never had a response longer than 3 minutes to an Uber request. There are a lot of drivers in that area.) I also want to add that a great hotel is one that offers great customer service and Henry at the front desk did that. He wanted to make sure out stay was perfect and offered ideas for dining, excursions and went out of his way to make us comfortable. I appreciated that very much!

The President Hotel may not be located directly on the beach, but guests can easily reach it as it's just around the corner. The hotel features a serene saltwater pool on the rooftop, which offers a scenic view of the sky. The staff, particularly Henry at the front desk, were accommodating and hospitable. Moreover, the breakfast served in the morning was scrumptious, with a wide range of options available.

Location was amazing! Super close to the beach. My friends and I always stay here when were in Miami as it's a cute, boutique hotel that meets all our needs and the price was great! Staff are always super friendly and the welcome drinks are a nice touch.

The hotel is just a short walk to everything you would need. Walgreens is right across the road. Starbucks, the beach, many restaurants are within 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was great. Rudy at the front desk had EXCELLENT customer service. Any questions were answered accurately, and problems he could solve he looked after. Even walking around at night time felt safe in that part of the city.
